JNJ Express, Inc. is a family owned and operated truckload carrier based in Memphis, TN.  Due to our aggressive growth plan and multiple new opportunities, we at JNJ are currently seeking Independent Contractors (Operate under your own authority), Owner-Operators (lease under our authority), Lease Purchase drivers, and Company drivers – Team & Solo.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 23 years of age
  • Must have at least 2 years of OTR experience
  • No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
  • No failures or refusals to take substance or alcohol tests

  • Safety - paid quarterly. No accidents or DOT vehicle inspections with violations.

Company Driver Benefits

Weekly Pay

Payroll can be directly deposited into your bank, mailed to your residence, made available for pickup at the terminal, or on fuel card.

Insurance

After 90 day Probationary period driver qualifies for medical and dental benefits, $15,000 accidental death policy. Optional coverage available for disability and extra life insurance.

Other Benefits

  • Paid vacation after one year
  • 98% no touch freight - all drivers are asked before dispatched on driver assist loads
  • No New York
  • No Slip-Seating: Assigned to own late model tractor
  • Rider Program - Rider must be at least 18 years of age. Riders need not be member of drivers family.

Pay Scale

Up to .06 cent incentive bonus.
*Plus fuel surcharge paid on ALL miles - loaded and empty.

  • $.93 per dispatch miles LOADED & EMPTY with Haz-Mat endorsement
  • $.88 per dispatch miles LOADED & EMPTY without Haz-Mat endorsement
  • Weekly Mileage Bonus Plan paid Monthly as follows:
    2500 = $.01
    2750 = $.02
    3000 = $.03
    3250 = $.04
    3500 = $.05
  • Quarterly Safety Bonus = $.01
  • Fuel surcharge paid weekly by National DOE
  • Non Force Dispatch
  • First In – First Out dispatching
  • Fuel card program with discounted fuel available
  • Discounted maintenance, tires, and parts program available
  • Weekly Settlement by Check, Direct Deposit, or on Fuel Card.
  • Base plates, permits, and road tax provided at no cost

Independent Contractor

Independent Contractor Program

  • Must have your own Operating Authority with a “Satisfactory” DOT rating
  • Year-round contracted rates PLUS a variable Fuel Surcharge
  • Round trip dispatching program
  • 1000 mile average length of haul
  • Carriers pull our trailers, avoiding purchase and maintenance costs
  • Carrier can reload their own freight if choose to do so
  • Quick-Pay plan, in which carriers are paid within 3-7 days of delivery
  • Free Trans Flo
  • Fuel card program with discounted fuel available
  • Discounted maintenance, tires, and parts program available
